Created to coincide with the Olympics in London 2012 and remounted by The National Ballet of Japan, each costume design for Faster alluded to a different sport; marathon runners, basketball player, wrestlers, synchronised swimmers, fencers, gymnasts and javelin & shot-put throwers. Monochrome and metallic hues only were used for the first two acts, the final act exploded in colour.
